Description:
These artefacts always resemble a coin, usually one of the region that they were built in. They must be subtly constructed so that not even a master craftsman can identify them as anything other than a genuine coin. However, the flecks of moonsilver embedded in the coin during its forging means that its faces can change sides, allowing the owner to win any and every coin toss. The owner is advised to use this artefact prudently, displaying ludicrous streaks of good luck will tip off others to the coin's nature.
The owner simply commits one point of essence to the coin, the sides of the coin can then be swapped over as a reflexive action whenever the user wishes. The coin is sensitive to commands within about ten yards. There are tales of more powerful versions that can alter their appearance to any coin that the user has in his hands. These would be two point artefacts.
Recognising the coin's magical nature requires a Perception + Occult roll, difficulty 5, or Intelligence + Craft(minting), difficulty 5.
